Recognized as one of the best pizzaiolos in the world, we are honored to welcome back Chef Franco Pepe of Pepe in Grani from Caiazzo, Italy for a weekend of lunch events.
Raised in the family’s tavern-pizzeria, Chef Franco learned the art of pizza by observing the actions of his father, Stefano, who used fresh local ingredients to create unique pizzas. Pepe in Grani, which opened in 2012, is the epitome of Franco’s philosophy to pizza: celebrating authentic flavors to his territory of Italy and local produce. Among his awards are the Pizza Award and the title of The Best Pizza Chef awarded by The Best Chef in 2023. Chef Franco was also featured in the Netflix docuseries Chef’s Table in 2022.
This 6-course pizza tasting menu will showcase Chef Franco’s signature, award-winning pizzas.
